Will there be impreg?

(1 edit) (-3)

The MC looks like a woman with a beard lol

the game is not playable on an ultrawide monitor cause it zooms in and cuts of important parts, there are no options visible to change the resolution or fullscreen/windowed mode

this is a quick workaround for people like me with the same issue

You can add command line arguments by running the game in a console like so (windows cmd)

nidaros.exe -screen-width 1920 -screen-height 1080

to play the game in a FullHD resolution

For some reason i cant see the scenes, just got black screen, any ideas what can be?

I've uploaded a new version with the fix now.

Thank you for the info! 😻

But have in mind that we use black screen on purpose in the beginning of some scenes.

Great game. so far it's very fun! First, a quick question to check if i have compleated the game (for the free version). i have gotten the farm girl hj, saved the taverkeep's husband, and beat my companion at throwing axes, is there anything else? So far other than a couple of gramatically incorrect word choices i actually really like the script. And for a critique, i think the art is very charming, but the shading causes it to look a little too waxy for me, not enough to take me out of the game but enough for me to notice, i think testing some different shading styles for the nudity would put your visuals on a whole nother level while still keeping it's charm (the scene with the tavernkeep on the lake being an exception). Overall very fun game so far. can't wait for what's next.

Thank you! Glad you like the game and that you gave us some feedback. We will defininatly take your notes into consideration in future development of the game :)

New update coming soon!

Rather promising - I really like the art. =)  A few notes:

  • It would be nice to have the map view change with the time of day; it's a little jarring to go from town at night -> sunny overland view -> home at night
  • ...it's been a few days and I already forgot all the names, but when you meet <village girl> back at your house, the textbox header is showing <sister's name> for her lines.  Also, it's possible I missed some leading bit of text somewhere, but I thought she was inviting me to her house after I'd do the shopping, so I spent a while trying to find it before stumbling across her back home.
  • The quest tab seems to have very little correlation to what's happening in the game - not updating when I fulfill the objective, that sort of thing. I'm assuming this'll get tuned later.
  • The writing is the weakest point of the game by far right now, and I hope you'll do more work there, because the setting and your goals for it really need a solid backbone of story to hang all the pretty pictures and mechanics onto.  Right now, you've got pieces that are weird and explained inadequately or not at all (four years to get home, random breast milk merchant), the MC is a legendary warrior that just about nobody knows (yes, the game mentions that the town's population has almost entirely changed in his absence; see "weird and inadequately explained" above), he is apparently dumb as a brick (MC: "The blacksmith didn't want to hire me =("  Friend: "Did you tell him that you used to smith before the war?" MC: "...oh, you think I should?"), and the dialogue often just reads like two teens texting each other.
  • This probably falls under the writing point as well, but the flashing scenes feel kind of awkwardly wedged in.  I ain't opposed, but the two current data points of "it's time to introduce a new female character, here's what her tits look like before we have so much as a word from her" are already suggesting a thoroughly silly trend.  If that's Your Thing, so be it, but something like that would be more enjoyable with a bit of buildup.

It is a pretty impressive start, though, despite all the rough bits. Looking forward to seeing where it goes from here.

Thank you very much for the feedback. We will take all notes in to considerations.
The story is a work in progress and as you say, there are alot of elements that can be, and will be changed in the near future and some even in the upcoming update.

And as you said about the female character that we call 'Hildas mom', we are not satisfied with that scene. It's nice that you say that aswell, making our decision final.

We want this game to be enjoyable for everyone, and we think that starts with a good story.

Once again we really appreciate the feedback and we are excited to hear your thoughts on future updates as well.

Glad to have you onboard!

Thank you for your feedback and observation! We appreciate your interest in our game. While it's true that our games has similarities, we want to clarify that we were indeed inspired by it and other games during the development process. We aimed to capture some of the elements, while also adding our unique twist and storytelling. We hope you can enjoy our game for its own merits while appreciating the inspiration to.

I love the artstyle and im happy to see more of it. I just wondered if there are maybe some shared assets or even a shared team between the two games. But inspiration is a good explanation as well. I´ll be waiting for more then =)

Thank you, means a lot!

No, we are a new team of developers and artists.

More is coming soon :)

I really like the art so far! Going to for sure keep an eye on it going forward. Gives me Aurelia vibes and I love that game.

Just as a heads up, the game was cut off on the top and bottom for me when I launched it. I have an ultrawide monitor so I assume that was the reason. I could only see white dots (the top of the letters) at the very bottom of the screen during the intro and none of the UI/buttons at the top during gameplay.
I was able to get around it by passing "-screen-fullscreen 0 -screen-height 1080 -screen-width 1920" as command line launch arguments, forcing the game to a window lower than my monitor resolution with 'standard' aspect ratio. I figure you all would want to know as others might not know the launch arguments trick and not be able to play.

Glad you like the game!

Hmm that doesn't sound good. We will definitely take a look at the wide-screen problem.

Thank you for the feedback!

Thank you for the feedback!

We agree with all your feedback-notes, and are working on them as we speak for the upcoming update.

Much appreciated, glad to have you onboard.

Hello. I like the art. The characters were likeable. The erotic scene (I found the one in the bar) was a little short which is better than being too long. Your game obviously needs some work, but I do like what you have so far.

Hello! Thank you for the feedback, glad you liked the characters.
Yes, the game needs alot of work, and we are more than happy to get as much feedback as possible, so we can make this game a good experience
